OUR SCHOOL CAMPS

We endeavour to offer all our children the opportunity to experience education outside the classroom through camp - whether it's an overnight sleep out at school (for our younger students) or a more challenging experience (for our seniors).  

 

As our camps are designed to further develop abilities, they are not determined until the new school year has begun and teachers have gained a good knowledge of individual students and their abilities. Please not that our camps are not annual, rather they are decided based on interest, funding, and circumstance.

In previous years students have camped on the hall grounds and experienced challenging day trips (snorkeling, horse riding, tree adventures, kayaking), tramped 50km around Lake Waikaremoana and enjoyed the Moirs Point Camp in Mangawhai.

Although part of our school curriculum, school donations do not cover the cost of camp.
