Since its establishment in 1888, Ahuroa School has been richly entrenched into the history of our community.  We are extremely proud of the close bonds we have forged and continue to grow and maintain.  We strongly believe it takes a community to raise a child, and we are so very fortunate to have such a strong, supportive and active relationship with our community, both within Ahuroa and Puhoi.  With our open door policy, our outside the classroom focus, our determination to provide facilities and opportunities for the benefit of all the community and our being an innovative and forward thinking school, we are very proud to say that we have firmly established ourselves as our communities heart.
