Every year in October, our students and community families are given the opportunity to participate in Ag Day.  In addition to raising a chicken, lamb, goat or calf, children have the opportunity to show case their pets, grow edible gardens and present a variety of indoor exhibits.  In addition, our community has the opportunity to showcase their homemade wares as part of our Farmers Market Stalls.  Our Young Farmers Competition is always lots of fun and the perfect way to end the busy morning.  Our BBQ lunch and morning tea kitchen keeps everyone sustained and our huge bake sale is always popular.  We warmly invite all our community to come along and share the day with us.

 

A massive thank you to our PTFA for making the event such a success at Ahuroa School.  Thank you also to our local businesses and our community judges for your ongoing support.
